Description of Services

The ExploreFrench website provides online French learning services including memberships, with access to structured courses, grammar, vocabulary and communication lessons, podcasts, audiobooks, and interactive activities.

Prices

All prices are displayed in EURO (€).
As a micro-entrepreneur, VAT is not applicable (art. 293 B of the CGI).

Payment Terms

Payments are processed securely through PayPal or Stripe. ExploreFrench does not store card details. Additional fees from banks or currency exchange may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery of Service

Memberships: access is granted immediately after payment confirmation.

Right of Withdrawal

According to EU law, you have a right of withdrawal of 14 days for digital purchases. By accessing digital content immediately after payment, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal. For private lessons, the rules below apply.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refunds are not granted for subscriptions once the period has started.
Once accessed, digital products (courses, audiobooks, etc.) are non-refundable.

Duration of Contract

– 6-month membership: valid for six months, not automatically renewed.
– Annual membership: valid for one year, not automatically renewed.
– Lifetime access: valid for the lifetime of the ExploreFrench platform.

Termination Conditions

You can cancel subscriptions at any time through your account settings or by contacting ExploreFrench. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Liability Limitation

ExploreFrench is not responsible for service interruptions or failures caused by third-party providers (e.g. PayPal, Educaplay, WordPress, hosting services). ExploreFrench cannot be held liable for indirect damages such as loss of data, income, or opportunity.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, ExploreFrench owns the intellectual property rights in the website and the material published on it. Subject to the license below, all intellectual property rights are reserved.

You may view, download, and print content for personal learning use, subject to the restrictions below.

You must not:

• republish content from this website (including on another website);
• sell, rent, or sub-license content from this website;
• show any material from this website in public without permission;
• reproduce, duplicate, copy, or exploit content for commercial purposes;
• edit or modify material from the website.

Acceptable Use

You must not use this website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage or impairment of availability. You must not use it for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.

You must not use this website to distribute viruses, malware, or malicious software. You must not conduct automated data collection (scraping, mining, harvesting) without written consent. You must not use this website to send unsolicited commercial communications or for marketing purposes without ExploreFrench’s consent.

Access Restrictions

Access to certain areas of this website is restricted to members (subscriptions, premium content). ExploreFrench reserves the right to restrict access at its discretion. If you are provided with a user ID and password, you must keep them confidential.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law.
Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
